Selfie: Portrait: Similarities: - They are both pictures of you - they both represent your personality in some way Differences: - the selfie is less formal than the portrait - the portrait is taken by someone else - the selfie allows you to have more control of how you want it to look, while the portrait is made by the photographer - the selfie is how you want others to see, but the portrait is how the photographer sees you Selfie or Portrait? I like the portrait better because I think it represents my personality better than the selfie because it shows that I am shy and have trouble making eye contact with people when I first meet them.
