Aperture

What is Aperture?
The amount of light through the lens. The aperture variates, which can change the depth of field.

How does aperture work technically and visually?
The smaller the number of the f stop, the bigger the opening of the lens is. This is called select focus, which shows a shallow depth of field. The higher the f stop the smaller the opening of the lens is.

What happens to the exposure triangle when you change your aperture?
To change your light meter you must change your shutter speed. We kept the ISO the same, but changed the shutter speed throughout this project. When the lens is wider that means the aperture is smaller and the faster the shutter speed is. When the lens is smaller that means the aperture is bigger and the shutter speed is slower.
